Nice to meet you,
I’m Marissa Gurello, LMHC

I am licensed in New York and Massachusetts and bring over 8 years experience to my work. I value providing a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment.

My approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique experience. Together, we work to better understand patterns, build coping skills, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.

How We’ll Work Together

In our work together, my goal is to help you feel empowered to make the changes you want in your life. I believe meaningful change happens when we learn to face difficult emotions with curiosity and without judgment.

I like to meet clients where they are at in their own experience. I value authenticity in the therapy space, and strive to create a warm, genuine connection where clients feel safe to explore and grow. Together, we will explore patterns and challenges so you can move toward the life you want to live.

  • I provide individualized therapy for adults meeting you where you are in your experience. You may find yourself caught in constant “what ifs,” struggling with decision-making, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of daily life and life transitions.

In our work together, I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand your thoughts and emotions while building practical coping skills. Our goal is to help you reduce anxiety, gain clarity, and feel more confident navigating your life with greater balance and ease.

  • Teens don’t always have the words to express when they’re struggling. Adolescence can be a confusing and emotionally intense time, often marked by anxiety, stress and self-doubt. This may include challenges with identity, friendships, or family dynamics.

I provide individualized therapy for adolescents, meeting each teen where they are while creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can feel understood. Together, we build coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and help them feel more confident navigating challenges and making meaningful changes in their lives.
